    That would seem to be more effective under that body line than on top of it.

    I have a basic understanding of the fact that things with wheels roll downhill and that many of the same people who can't grasp this concept are the same slobs who can't be bothered to put their carts back or at least anchor them somewhere when finished with them.

    Defensive parking (uphill and away from entrances) seems to work for me.

    Of course i probably just jinxed myself....

    Man, when I read the title I thought he bought something and pulled out/fixed his door or something like that. I was like, "ooOo I want to learn how to prevent or fix."

    Actually, the running boards protect against most car doors and the door guards protect from most others. The door guards are in fact meant to be installed lower but my wife's Prius door still hit the Taco unless i mounted them higher.

    My old FJ got hit by a cart because it was so windy in the Target parking lot. I parked it way out away from fools and that was why it got hit!!!
