Well I'm already close to 60K on the truck as it is so my warranty is just about over on it. My background was in automotive for years. I have been doing this stuff for years from cam installs, to intake swaps, to rear end upgrades, to roller rocker mods, and full engine tear downs and rebuilds. This is going to be a cake build in that aspect. I have the utmost confidence that I can do the install on this and do it correct and equal to if not better then a dealer install. Their labor is insane!

I dont know honestly, but I totally scored because all other places wanted something around $4,600- even $5800 including the fit kit! Thats ridiculous! More the reason why I love Texas! That's the speed state.

Really? Toyota of Dallas has had the SC+Fit kit for $4300 shipped for like a couple years lol. I've been drooling over the SC for years and I always came back to them as the cheapest after multiple quotes from dealers.

You keep your factory warranty, it's just the SC that will only have one year warranty if you install it yourself.

Dallas no longer carries any of it. Matter of fact their supercharger and fit kits are totally off the list.

exactly  blame the tree huggers honestly.

Which is fine. A year is all I need to figure out if it will break or not, even if it does, all you have to do is pull it off the truck and rebuild the packs inside of it.

I am going to be buying a 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport Double Cab 5A in the next two weeks. Cost for the supercharger installed is $7400 CAD from dealer. Worth it?

7400 is a bit steep but since the CDN dollar shit the bed you have limited options. Install should only be 800 CDN so argue that point.

That's crazy 7400 cdn. I paid 5400 parts taxes in. Although I did buy it last year, they could be inflating the price because of the discontinues ImageUploadedByTapatalk1434852262.683853.jpg

I am actually dealing with Mayfield Toyota and it was them that gave me the price.....although that included labour installed and it seems yours is just for the purchase of the kit.

I really like it. Somebody might like it more...

    But then I don't know what I'd buy. Can't get a supercharged 4Runner. Maybe a FZJ80 Landcruiser with a LS V8...

Going into day four post install. I think the ECU is learning, and it is good.
