I tried to buy from trdparts4u at the $4300 price last week, and the transaction did not go through. A prior member posted that the price went up and sure enough, it's now $4700. I understand supply and demand (which is going up now that the discontinuation is public), but I may not buy over the additional $400 just out of spite... It's overpriced as it is, and who really needs to spend over $5K on more power? I suppose that's why I have a challenger sitting in the garage. All I can say is that although I love my tacoma well above my F150, I do miss that ecoboost power... :/

TRD still has it up on their site: http://www.trdusa.com/superchargers.html

I guess that just means more biz for the URD supercharger kit. But will they ever be able to get a harness kit together for the newer ECU's

I really wish they would! They could make SO much more money if they'd figure it out.

Yes you did. I guess my $5k+ will go towards my other car instead. Namely a Garrett GT3071R Turbo + it's accessories and I'll still have left over money for other stuff

This is horrible news. What will they do about warranties, parts, rebuilds, etc. for people who have them already?

It's right in the notice if you read it. Toyota will carry replacement parts for at least the next 10 years. Other than that plenty of other companies do rebuilds as well.

Made my purchase Monday and install should be in two weeks. The gentlemen who helped me made a comment that superchargers and fit kits are already getting scarce. I'm going to do a search on the forms for things to check after a dealer supercharger install.

There's actually federal laws about maintaining a parts source for seven years after the discontinuation of a vehicle. I would assume this would apply as well.

    What haven’t I changed?
Post up with the results when you find them. I'm planning on having mine installed at the end of July.

I did read through the fit kit installation instructions just to make sure that my own mods don't interfere:

    http://www.trdsparks.com/install/PTR29-35120inst.pdf

And then of course there is a detailed thread here on the installation:
