I've noticed a lot of supercharges bought because of this announcement. I would like to see everyone's results as far as performance. Is there a before and after SC thread?

So my insurance company Gieco will not cover the truck if I get the supercharger installed...what the hell! That being said, I may have to cancel my order...

I told them so I never ran into an issue of blowing $30k with no insurance... Looking into switching insurance now.

That's BS that Gieco is doing that to you. My company wanted to know when I did it but they just added the value to my vehicle and charged me about a buck more a month.

I'm very curious as to what that will be considering your experience. Out of curiosity, what is keeping you in your Tacoma?

Nothing wrong with it technically or nothing wrong with it to you? I.e. you're satisfied with its capabilities? I see you mentioned the f150 frequently. Good luck looking for a runner.

I told them. Most insurance policies don't cover the additional value of mods. Mine does. If someone hits me I'd like my $6000 back.

I'm so tempted to do that as well, but since URD is the only other option, and i don't want to be rebuilding an engine very soon, I'll probably just hold on to mine and have some fun.

I'm leaning towards those new Toyo RTs, except the sizes aren't great

In Canada you have to have a piece of paper filled out to cover certain modifications like lifts, bumpers, and S/C in order to have them under your insurance. For the two accidents that weren't your fault you would still get depreciated value on your mods, but for the one that is your fault you get nothing extra over your vehicles value without the additional waiver.

Thats crazy, so everytime you upgrade you have to call the insurance company and let them know, or even prior to getting them you need to get there approval?? yikes
