Hey, piss off with that shit. @3JOH22A is one of the most knowledgeable people on , and one of the kindest people I’ve met IRL. Would give you the shirt off his back, and he’s the only reason my and several other peoples trucks aren’t blown into pieces on the side of the trail/garage still.

look, i dont think anyone can figure out who pissed in your cereal but buddy was just giving you a heads up that the hood scoop leaks (fake or not fake, if it's not fake then it should be sealed against a radiator thats providing cooling to something, typically mounted on top of the engine like so on the Landcruiser 100 but at that point you want it sealed correctly to get the most cooling otherwise you're only hurting the engine.)

but neither here nore there. we're all just trying to figure out our own shit and passing on knowledge to others in case some other has an idea, similar if not the same, but isn't fully aware of all the variables, outcomes, and pitfalls.
I glued in a switch set off a ford F250 (now the new Bronco has it) and i thought i was the only person to have that idea, but alas someone else thought of it and left no record. so when i did my version, i wrote as much as i can leave in a post to help out the next guy if they stumble across it. i still get messages about how the system works people since there are people that want to try it.

also what's with the flex of the military service? I'm a civil engineer for longer than you have been "on tour" or whatever you Americans call it, but you dont see my tooting my own horn to calm my own ego lol.

Take everything with a grain of salt, be kind.
