No mud flap mod next!!

Well I guess it's time to take the mud flaps off the front. As I'm on the highway I heard a loud sound coming from the passenger side of my truck, so I throw on the hazards on and pull over in a safe spot. I jump out and run over to the passenger side and my right front mud flap is hanging on for dear life. WTF!? I ripped it off and continued home. Now what?

Take off the left side? Or take them all off?

Not sure about California with the rear mud flaps, so I'm thinking I'll just remove the left front and keep the rears.
