So I’ve been meaning to do this for a few days. In the midst of my lift install my son decided to be born. Little early for him but him and momma are happy and healthy and home from the hospital.
So I managed to get MOST of my lift kit installed.
    Specs on the setup.
Front was 2 ¾ in lift
    Rear was 2.25 in lift
Still has about a 1 in rake.
    Front:
OME 888 coils and OME Nitrocharger 9000 struts
    Rear:
OME Dakar 95R (Medium Weight) leaf packs
Bilstein b110 shocks (to be installed)
Extended brake lines and bump stops (to be installed)
    OME Carrier Bearing Drop
    Tires:
    285 75 r16 Hercules TeraTrac AT2
    1.25 in spacers.
    Triming:
OEM mudflaps on the front were trimmed to clear the tire
Driver front of fender linder was heat gunned an reshaped to stop a rub in reverse.
Still need to stuff it and see where else needs trimming.

Step 1. Organize my garage. Just bought this house so it’s a work in progress but I set it up for now till I can get my two post lift….. yeah I want one.
Plenty of room to get started
    [IMG]
Step 2. After reading about how squeaky Dakar springs can get I decided to do the TSB for squeaking before installing them. Lots of grease on the pucks. So far no squeaks well see if it works long term.
The OME compared to the factory Bilstein is a massive upgrade. Springs are beef.
Had the alignment done at a near by shop. Good dudes there. Lots of jeep heads so they did a good job with it. This is on factory control arms.
After the lift and with the tires on. Very slight rubbing at full lock. Spacers fixed that but made the tires rub slightly on the mud flaps and fender liner when turning in reverse.
    Before
    [IMG]
    After with out spacers.

    After with spacers

And the big news for me is I get to pursue 2 long time dreams shortly.
This year I'm pit manager for Hunkerdown Racing at the 2019 King of the Hammers.
I get to prerun this year. Next year I'm navigating. Greatest offroad race in America and I get to take the taco down as a support rig.

    Installed these today
    1. Brake Lines
    2. B110 Bilsteins
    3. Hockey pucks
The droop on the rear is awesome now. I need to get this thing near a fork lift and see how high I can get it. Suspension is complete.

Tent goes on tomorrow then its prep and pack for hammer town

Can finally start packing and it looks like I'm mostly ready.
Opened up the tent to make sure all my bedding was still in there and it hadnt leaked.
    I've named it Fort Kick Ass.20190125_125934.jpg 20190125_130515.jpg 20190125_130956.jpg dk1h0R2.jpg

Today I made up some brackets to mount my shovel and traction boards to.
Waiting till ups shows up tomorrow because they have the boards. I have all the hardware just need to know the mounting dimensions.

I also upgraded my nav tab. Samsung A8 is fantastic 8in display and using the ram A8 specific tab mount with the DMM it's perfect.

Tracking info was emailed to me today. Super excited and it only took a week instead of 4. Guess that's the benefit of ordering bare vs powder coat.

I am just getting ready to put on a Falcon Suspension, 1.25" in Back, 2.5" in front. was also going to use 1.25" spacers, it looks like your spacers worked out well, are you happy with the setup?

    Very happy with it.

These are the spacers I used.

Someone else on here recommended them and Im happy with them for half the price of spidertrax

I did have to trim my oem front mud flaps and push the fender liner forward on the driver side just a hair to clear the tires at lock. with the spacers off it rubs the control arm at lock. with the spacers on it barely brushed the mud flap and the fender liner. worth it to modify them slightly.

I am on Factory Tires/Wheels right now, I want to get the suspension setup first, then move to some more aggressive tire. with the falcon setup on the rear, I need to trim the upper shock bucket, or use spacers, i bought spidertrax, just because I had them before with no problems, but I was worried that the tires would stick out to much with 1.25", looking at yours the stance looks great I think. Your thread makes me think I am headed right direction.

soon I will replace my stock leafs with Dakar leafs for the weight back there, but this will be down the line.

Sounds like you are. I am going to upgrade my mudflaps to a softer wider set as it does toss a little more crap on the paint
