Someone left a big dent in the rear door and scratched the drivers door on my '09 Taco last night. And, of course, no note as to who did it.

It was dark when I got in the truck last night so I didn't see it then. Went out this afternoon and saw it. I am bummed. Will call the insurance company and get it looked at tomorrow but the first one always hurts. The truck is not even six months old.

You may be better off just going to a paintless dent repair place and getting it pulled out versus going through the insurance companies. I have had paintless dent repair done and on average i've paid between 40-60 for some dings to get taken out of the door.

One time someone hit my dad's truck and left a note. Then after my pops was trying to get everything taken care of with the insurance the guy was denying that he even did it.....

$777.62 to refinish and paint the left side doors. What is amazing is that the body shop says it might take up to FOUR DAYS to do the work. I don't understand why it takes so long to fix two doors but they are a very reputable shop that I have had good results from in the past so they'll get the truck Monday week and I'll have it back by the end of the week.

Now pissing some others off by taking up two spaces in that particular parking lot. Oh well.
