No offence, but is this whole ‘TRD’ thing stupid?

I hear what you are saying, and I agree on a certain level.
I also feel I'm maybe just a little cooler than you with my TRD Pro badging. Not a lot, just a smidge. I'm pretty badass anyway, but we can all use just a little extra...

No, I love truck, and think it was priced very well for what it is. Reread my initial post.

I even Plasti-dipped my Exhaust tip black. Now for the rear bumper and I’m done until I put a Fox lift on in the Spring.

Oh my God! I need those now!!
I have an MR2 Turbo powered Sandrail. I will only wear those when driving it from now on!!

Scrotum sand is going to be a bitch, but it's the price you pay.

Nice deal. It's always good to pin them down to an OTD price. It cuts through all the dealer BS.

I went in search for an SR and left with an orange SR5...so I didn't stick to my original plan at all LOL.

I first put on 2 coats “Rustoleum High Heat” paint. Then 5 coats of Plasti-Dip. Still looks like I did it yesterday.

So if SR5, really means “sport rally 5”, is the SR just sport rally?

Is that like Jackson 5 or just Jacko?

    "My cars an SRT".

    "NO IT'S NOT"!!

"Is to, it says so right on the motor, powered by SRT"

"SRT's have electronic 3 way suspension and 6 piston brembos. You don't have that, so it's not an SRT"!!

"BUT MY MOTOR SAYS IT IS"!!

"Then why does your grill badge say R/T"?

"wha....oh, it does. But my motor says SRT!! So I'm going to take the R/T badge off and put SRT, cause that's what it is"!!!!

It's called.....Marketing Strategy". Learn it, live it, love it.

I did, and every post up to this point (just to make sure I wasn’t speaking out of ignorance).

Your initial post proves what others have said: it’s a marketing ploy to get the masses purchasing. There are several cosmetic upgrades. There are negligible performance upgrades. There are options for most mass consumers.

In all reality, it’s the icing on the cake for someone on the edge of purchase. But hey you already knew that...

    Based on your original post.
