100% Although in here in Co - more frontiers and Colorado's. Neighbor has the Canyon and I flirted with it. So glad I passed.

So wait, it's a full sized truck with acres of dashboard, and they still can't fit a screen without it looking like a shoehorned afterthought?

Whoever designed that interior has brought shame upon themselves and their respective families.

    That truck is hideous.

Tundra is the new “Tacoma killer”!!!! Right up there with the New Ranger and the Maverick and the New Frontier, and the New Bronco, and the Hyundai Santa Cruz,
and the GM Twins, and yadda yadaa yadda…..

Articles like this are click-bait. How about the reason is that so many of us drive so much less and my Tacoma will not die. Why buy a new truck and spend $40-50K when my current 12 year old truck runs perfect. There are times where it sits in the garage for 3 days. I thought I would have bought a new one by now but just can't justify it.

The screen does look “stuck on”. The front end is nothing to write home about either.

It's been almost ten years since the last time I bought a Tacoma. This checks out.

I tend to focus my hate on the shifter knob that is not only ugly, but also so oversized its ugliness is magnified.

The lower cost SR and SR5 are gone within hours (never a full day) in Texas and Oklahoma.
Most Tacoma’s in this area are off-road models that usually sit on the lot for several days (less than a week).
I do not recall seeing a new Sport on a dealer lot (or with temporary 30 day tags) within the last 6 months

When I bought my 2016, I noticed many dealers listing VIN numbers on their web site that they expected to receive in a future allocation.

Obviously Tacoma sales are gonna be a bit stale. The truck is 7 model years old. Hasn’t been a whole lot of changes over the years and the competition has newer products that are as good or better.

Next weeks article probably is Ford's F-150 Raptor made Ranger obsolete, with video to prove.

They have to work with the nubers they have, not the numbers they want to have.

I don't think Toyota would be selling more Tacomas if they had them. Not with out selling them for less, and bringing Tacoma resale values down with them.

Although I haven't seen it in person, it still looks pretty basic and if that 14" screen is as good as it gets, it probably isn't much better than what you get with a dodge.

That article is complete BS. There are no Tacoma's around to sell. Tacoma's do not exist around my parts. If You want one you need to call around to dealers and put a deposit on one that is slated to be built sometime in July-August.

Used 21 and older Tundra's are selling much better than the new Tundra's around here.
