:mudding:Tacomas are selling and on the move. Not sure how much crack Henry has smoked, but it's a bunch.

Hm not sure about better fuel economy on the tundra, but I chose Tacoma because I could get MT and it fits on trails much better than a full-size.

Most dealerships that I could get to with in a 45 minute ride have about 3 Tacomas on the lot, if not more. Plus a list of allocations on line.

I don't know either but it has got to be one big s-load of crack! Every other vehicle around here is a 3rd gen Tacoma. You can't run or hide from them. Mature Karens get so frustrated over the prevalence of Tacoma's that they'll try to stop you and fling shawl like nobody's business.

Yep, since I've bought my Tacoma I've been looking our for them more. Tacos are everywhere, new and old.

why are we even comparing a 3rd gen tacoma that is about to be upgraded to a current new gen Tundra? It's not apples to apples.

I was at the dealer today and the service writer enlightened me to the turbo and engine failures they are having with the new Tundra. Might be a year before they get the wrinkles ironed out. I don't think the Tundra will be making the Tacoma obsolete this year. In time I am sure it will be good.

Stick shift availability pure and simple
I don't drive anything else and my choices were limited to taco, jeep or Bronco
I live in a snowy climate and 4x4 or awd is a must. I had to drive 50 MI to get my fully loaded TOR. There are no tacomas on a lot and even with MT they are gone within 7 days

When I was recently shopping for a new Tacoma, 4 out of the 4 dealers had new trucks on their website , but not on the lot when I went down to look. Like none . They were either already sold, or in transit. I think one had a Tacoma in the showroom that wasnt online, but it too was sold. The only Tacomas at any of these dealers were ones in the SVC dept.

In 2021 Toyota slowed down making the V8 Tundra in preparation for the new 2022 Tundra. So of course comparing year over year by percentage the Tundra is outselling their previous year.

Motorbiscuit are a bunch of Morons.

Yeah the Motor biscuits articles have been showing up in my Google feed. They are like the Scotty Kilmer of writers. Click bate central.

I seriously got my Tacoma because of size. Mid size was right for me. I mean I made it 2 weeks in a rental Silverado but at the time I had it it was OK but in the end I glad when the Liberty CRD I had then was back from the body shop.

I flirted with getting a Pherd Ranger, some things I didn't like. The the dash layout, Ford sync infotainment. It was quicker than the Tacoma or it felt like it but just didn't have the same quality feel over all.

I’ll bet you wanted a raptor and couldn’t afford one, so told yourself the Tacoma is even better and you can always add the raptor lights later.

THe difference is 10 yrs down the road, raptor will go to a junkyard where it belongs and taco would still be running around like it is brand new. No ford, GM or jeep can match toyota reliability.
