Key word it is better than most, hence it is good enough for me. I will let someone else to dump money in jeeps, fords, gms and other crapware. Toyota has the highest resale value out there. I am fine with my Taco TOR MT.

Nissan is like a Japanese Chrysler; they remind me a lot of one another (Not a big fan of either.)

"the tundra replaced the tacoma" written by a person who has never had a need for a truck ever. Taco/Tundra are entirely different audiences.

I bet Tacoma sales ( and sales of other brand trucks ) are being affected by the dealers that are ripping potential customers off. Before the pandemic you were able to buy a vehicle and actually get a discount
Now / good luck . I think people that were on the fence with there older vehicle thinking of buying a Tacoma and now see 5 k over msrp will put it on the back burner . The dealers don’t care because they make more money selling 1 truck than selling 3 before .

Larry, you are an odd dude.

You say you remain on this forum to read the interesting posts, yet you seem determined to try to reinforce your decision to buy a Nissan by promoting it over a Tacoma.

Not only are you not convincing anyone regarding the Nissan, you are coming across like a troll. Whatever reputation you had here is being eroded pretty quickly.

Geez, your sounding just like a buddy of mine with his new nissan frontier pro-4x. Yeah i agree its a fine truck, but so is the tacoma when you have one with no complaints as i have. My buddies trd tacoma just had a few gremlins he couldn't live with.

You’re a fool if you think I’m here trying to convince anyone of anything. I could careless what vehicles anyone buys, likes or wants.

In regards to my Titan, it’s been a great truck. Not one issue so far. Can’t say that about my old 3rd gen. But I know there are people here who can. Bottom line is who gives a shit? Life’s too short. Drive what you want and what makes you happy.

Just trolling someone trying to troll me. He must really like my Titan to keep bringing it up and talking about it. Glad you’ve had no issues with your truck.

Stopped by my local dealership in Western Virginia today to get the 25K services done to my 2021 TRDOR. Every time I swing in for services I chat up the sales manager about how business has been post COVID. 3 months ago he said it was like nothing he had seen before and they couldn’t get any inventory due to the chip shortage. The only Tacomas they had on the lot were used and they were offering a premium for anyone looking to trade one in. Today I noticed they had some Tacomas on the line outside and I asked if things had improved. He laughed and said those were all 2WD and they couldn’t get any new 4WD Tacomas. He said everything they are allocated is sold before it ever gets to the dealership and they still aren’t getting much of those. So it sounds like anyone who managed to get a new Tacoma recently is in luck because supply is still nonexistent.

If you see that here in Colorado it’s because they are 2WD.

My dealer had three on the lot yesterday. I stopped in and took a look. All three were SR's and 2WD. You could choose between MGM and MGM.

Just shows how easy it is to twist numbers, statistics and facts to suit the narrative they chose before they even started writing the article....

I wonder who paid for that “journalism”?

    True. I have had a 1st Gen Tundra and a 2012 Tacoma.
I bought a 2021 Tundra last November but I never could get comfortable with its size.
I put money down on a 2022 Tacoma double cab OR last week. It is scheduled to be built in early June and I’m ready to go back to the smaller truck.
I mostly use my truck for light hauling and pulling my 19’ aluminum bass boat.
