If you want power seats that bad, would 4runner seats fit in the tacoma? I'm sure they wouldn't be cheap though.....

but if you are short and would like the seat raised, how do you do that in the new Tacoma? I bet a few short passengers really don't care to stare at the glovebox on long trips.

What did everyone do before there were power everything. They found a way & did it themselves.
The problem now is everything is bundled as a package & you can't have one without the other.IE: Can't get a white sport mt ac without the sports & teck pkg but get the tow pkg.

BTW, WTF is it with Toyota's build page, says only a 5sp mt!

Are you building a 4/cylinder? The 4 cylinders are all 5-speed MT and the V6s are all 6-speed

    Wait, what!?

I'm sorry but at that price range in a mid-size luxury is all that is being thought of because that is just about the only thing that should make a mid-size truck that expensive. Sorry.

Even then, I can't think of a luxury that would actually justify the price on a mid-size either.

I agree. Height adjustment is what is missing on this truck. You don't need power seats for that, but again at that price range it's stupid not to have the full power seats. It's 2015, why aren't they just standard on every vehicle by now?

Just an FYI there isn't much cost difference between building a full sized truck and a mid size. Your manufacturing costs and parts are nearly the same. All that changes is a few hundred pounds of metal. It's not surprising the pricing is almost the same with the cheaper mid sized missing a few options.

Retired on my couch with a cold beer in my hand
    too much to type
Adding more options to these trucks are going to drive the prices up even more, The prices are already getting out of control for a pickup truck. After 6 Toyota's later I never have had a problem adjusting my seats manually.
Hey here's a crazy thought if you don't like the Tacoma, i.e. lack of power seats, engine & trans specs etc. Don't Buy One! Go get a Chevy, Ford, Nissan, Dodge, you see where I'm going with this. Toyota didn't twist your arm to purchase one.

Ha this thread is a funny one, people bitching to Toyota about something they don't offer in this model truck. Ok lets fix this,

    Dear Akio Toyoda,

We want electric seats with lumbar control and height adjustment to be installed on the 2016 and newer model Tacoma's
or we won't come to buy them from you anymore.

    Sincerely Yours,
    The Whiny Cry Baby Bitches.

You gotta understand the people thou.. A height adjustment would be nice but it would't be enough to turn me away my tacoma.

Electric seats? It's a truck people. As soon as suburbanites stop buying "SUVs" our truck prices will stop going up.
