There was little resistance but there was no open lead or anything from the ecu to the plug. Haven’t checked sensor. Figured it was good since it’s new

So I took a multimeter to the cam/crank circuit wires at the back of the ECU and it had 0.2v while cranking. Not sure if the multimeter would work testing a 5v “pulse” signal or not.

Also was probing around the back of the ECU and grounded out the FC (green with yellow stripe) wire to body and the relay started working. What switches FC wire to ground in the ECU? What’s the next step in diagnosing? I ohmed the new crank sensor and it had 1919 ohms. Ohmed another one and it had around 2200. Could the brand new crank sensor be bad since the ECU had the crankshaft sensor circuit DTC?

Thanks for all the help so far guys!

Bought another new Crank sensor. Installed it and she fired right up. Must’ve bought a faulty sensor the first time. Thanks everyone for all the help!

Lesson learned ??? Just because it is new out of the box does not mean it works!!!

I'd trust an original used Toyota/Denso sensor from the junkyard before any aftermarket sensor. Sometimes the same sensor was used on several models, so it's easy to pick up spares. "Meets or exceeds original manufacturer equipment" should be taken with a grain of salt.

So maybe you can help me out here, I just put my injectors back in my truck after being cleaned.

So the intake, supercharger is removed and I want to pressurize the fuel line to make sure
there are NO leaks before putting the supercharger back on.

I pulled the starter relay in hopes the starter would be out of the circle and the fuel pump would come
on but no dice, if I disconnect the starter wires will that work?

I am pretty sure even when cranking the ECM needs to see the MAF signal so if the air intake is also off.

If you put battery voltage to the contact of the Circuit opening relay the blue wire goes to the fuel pump looks to be the correct one between 96 and 2000 should get you what you need maybe with a fuse and push button switch .

fuel line pressure leaks are not fun trying to shut things off.

Yes, the MAF was connected with the starter relay removed and NO fuel pump working.

Put voltage to the blue wire for the fuel pump ? Where is this circuit?

disconnected the small wire at the starter, put the starter relay back in and switched the key to start and you could hear the fuel pump going,

    AND NO LEAKS
