Has anyone else experienced this problem?
I have a device that plugs into the OBD2 port (and works fine in other vehicles).

I have a switch that I installed for my LED light bar, and I'm getting 12v power to that switch via a wire that I tapped into that's located behind the driver side panel in an UNUSED plug. Is it at all possible that this could have affected the OBD2 port!? It seems unlikely because I didn't touch anything to do with the OBD2 port, but maybe it's somehow related to the wire I snipped out of what I THOUGHT was an unused harness!?

Only one way to find out. Remove that tap.

I have an elm 327 obd2 BT adapter that I keep plugged in 24x7 and it is always powered.

That's exactly what I have too... Will see if I can get to the bottom of this during lunch!
