No re-gearing for 35s?

    I'm fine with the performance and trailer towing capability with factory tires (30.5"). I barely notice the difference with 265/75/16's, (31.5") and would probably find a true 33" tire acceptable. But 35's are just a bridge too far IMO. That is more performance loss than I'm willing to deal with and re-gearing is more expensive than I'm willing to pay. I spend too much time in mountains and towing.

    You don’t know what you don’t know. While you may find your setup tolerable, you’d probably find a regeared setup a whole lot more tolerable. Everybody is on about better performance. If you’re happy as is then save your money and leave it be.

    I forget if auto is shorter or taller than manual

    and 5 speeds instead of 6
    One possible mistake I made was getting heavy ass tall skinny load E for no reason that proved to be no more puncture resistant

    instead of the standard wide 33 that might be lighter
    Maybe a lighter wheel

    standard width looks like a bigger tire than skinnies imo despite same diameter

    He is speaking from the 3rd gen 6-speed auto which is tall as hell in the final drive.
