I know that there is multiple threads on this. Nowhere have I found an answer yet though. Does anybody know why the brake lights are working but not the running lights. They are the same lightbulb. And this is new it worked just the other day I have no idea why now it’s not. I’ve checked all the fuses I have replaced the brake switch. Somebody point me in the right direction please

Have you changed the bulb? The bulbs have dual-filament so just because the brake lights work doesn't mean the tail lights do.

I checked the bulb. Both Filaments are good. Even change them out to be sure.

You need to check the socket with a multimeter and/or test light, whichever you have, and see if there is power when the tail lights are turned on. Preferably a multimeter to see if voltage is appropriate.

Also, do the front parking lights/DRL's work?

OK so I checked my daylight running lights on the front are not working. And I do not have voltage at the Rear lights When I turn the headlights on. But on the terminal for the brake lights I do get power when I push the break in

Sounds like the problem is the parking light/headlight switch then.
