    Hello, first time post here

Been enjoying forum for years to assist with keeping my 1996 2.4l going, but am now reaching out for help.

She died the other day and am now stumped and parts cannon has gone off big time!

Have spark, fuel at rails. Appears to me I'm down to ecm or ignitor... Injectors not firing??

What does it do now? Cranking no start? Have you verified fuel injector pulse with a noid light or other means? Any work done on it just prior to this or was it out of the blue?
    Have you checked fuel pressure?

Yes crank no start, dist condensor is now best guess ...

Yes was catching up on deferred maintenance, cleaned throttle body (was FILTHY) IAC was fouled and frozen. Used camera scope and verified fuel delivery to each cylinder. Have not checked fuel pressure or compression as i don't have those tools

My 96 won’t start either. Back 40 beater. Thought it was fuel pump, tried to replace but tank is rotten, top opened up from rust trying to remove pump assy. Was running decent, died a few times but restarted. No start anymore before I tore into tank. Had power to pump when I cycled key after I got it out so not sure where the real problem is. Need a tank before I can continue…..

    Feel like a parrot.......
.....did u check integraty of the different grounds....
neg post to body....body to engine....ect....

Due to my old body.....I ended up running a ground direct to engine from post......
Plugs and injectors need a good solid ground......

check the fuel pressure. injectors shouldn't go bad all at once. I've also heard of quite a few people having issues after cleaning their throttle bodies. might be an IAC issue.
