Truck broke down on the highway couple months ago and just havent touched the truck since. Havent done much investigating other than what seems like oil inside the throttle body before the butterfly valve. Had a slight crack in the radiator. Driving down the highway and the intake boot must have turn after the maf sensor but before the turbo. Ecu must of recognized all the unmetered air and was running super rich. Friends were following and I deff had black exhaust fumes coming out the tailpipe. Truck lost all power and stalled on it's own rolling down the hw. Coolant temps and intake temps were normal when it died. Radiator bursted though were the crack was. Nothing sounded like any crazy shit happened inside the motor. Now I'm probably gonna do a compression test after work and look at the spark plugs. 215k on the motor, it hasnt been rebuilt other then doing arp headstuds and a new gasket, so my initial thought is I fried the piston rings, but then I was also thinking if I'm just super lucky that maybe i just fouled the spark plugs out? Motor still turns over and sounds healthy in that aspect. Any other ideas or suggestions that I may have not thought about?

Probably roast the block. Unmeasured air will cause the system to lean, not run rich. Way lean, especially in a force induction setup.

Yeah facts, but afr gauge was reading 10.0 the whole drive. Not doubting what your saying and unless my afr sensor and stock 02 sensors took a shit I wasnt running lean
