    Hi new here changed out key and ignition switch every thing seems to work as it should cranks over but will not start, Is there a fuse or something im missing?

    If you have the 4.0L V6 the truck has an immobilizer, the key has a transponder chip in it that is programmed to the truck, if you changed keys the new ones will need to have the correct transponder chip and they will have to be programmed to the truck.

    As a workaround until you can do that if you have the original key you can wrap a bit of foil around the head of the new key and then hold the head of the original key up to the lock cylinder while you turn the key on and crank the truck.

    May have to keep the key there for a bit after it starts, I'm not sure how long it checks for the chip in the key (I thought it was only at initial power up).
