No Sun Roof option for Access Cab?

Why is there no option for a sun roof in the access cab? The back seat in the double cab is tight for adults and we rarely use the back seat for a 3rd traveler. We take my wifes car if another human is going with us. If I ever get another new Tacoma I'd get the access cab and rip out the back seats. Use the area for storage. But I HAVE TO HAVE A SUN ROOF!

This is awesome, Maybe I just rip the back seat out of my crewmax and toss it.

 

Lots of things can't be had on one or another. Have to choose what's most important

 

Just buy the utility package access cab. No rear jump seats and decently trimmed out, ready to customize.

No sunroof on any access cab though. Not enough roof space to use the same one the fluffed up DCs have, not enough demand to make a mini version for the AC lineup.

 

How do they judge demand for something that has never been offered? I'd like one.

 

I'd like a turbocharged I6 diesel with a 6 speed trans and 2 speed rear axle, rear disc brakes and an option for a PTO.

Those would sell more than sunroofs. But yet here I am, doing without.......
