ok, if I run a wire, from my frame to my mount, considering I sand off the frame to bare metal, will this be sufficient?
and if so, should i use a smaller gauge wire to get more power through it, or just whatever size wire?

well I'm grounded! I took out that stupid fucking plastic washer, and grinded everything down to bare metal with my dremel.
cleaned off a piece of the frame, and voila! I have ground from the mounting bracket, mounting surface, and from the antenna.

now all I have to do is get ANOTHER swr meter. thanks a ton for your help
