anything ford is delayed, look at the maverick and Bronco. I personally made a Bronco order in september and still have no build date only order confirmation. I ordered a base 2 door automatic 2.3 in antimatter with very few add ons to try to expedite it.

I ordered my Bronco the day orders opened. Reserved day one. Cancelled a month or so ago with no build date.

It's the reason I've been enjoying my Tacoma for the last 7 months.

He wasn’t. Wanted a Tacoma. Wife wanted a bigger TT. Upsized the rig to meet her expectations.

They're building them but the order/allocation is a mess. Same with delays depending on options.

Reserving one early, unfortunately, doesn't mean anything. Ford really fucked it up.

Good for you you're basing your needs over your wants for the vehicle that will work for you.

On the way home from work yesterday saw a new Chevy dually hauling a double axle most likely car hauler with two campers, (one single axle and one double axle) on it going 70 mph comfortably in the middle lane. Immediately thought of the forum's towing thread and all the arguments that ensued there(and that the single axle trailer would been a struggle for a new tacoma to pull at that same speed). Tacoma is a great and fun truck, if everyone laid out their needs prior to purchasing they wouldn't need to complain about every little thing that it lacks or underperforms in.

That's a great question, lmao. I've been window shopping for a new truck for probably two years now. When we first started looking, my wife I were thinking that a smallish TT around 6,000lbs, would be a perfect match for a Tacoma....given the "tow capacity". Thankfully, some patient folks in this community explained the relationship between payload and towing capacity. Our needs have changed now and we are looking for a much larger TT.

I admire your ability to overrule your emotions and make your decision based upon a need as opposed to an emotion. It is not a common quality.
