no tail lights

    2021 tacoma offroad
    2.5" pro comp lift WITH UCA"S, OFF ROAD BUMPERS, 1200 LB WINCH. OTT TUNE, BLACK CAMPER SHELL ROOF RACK.
    I have no tail lights all other lights work.
    I have power on both sides of fuse, but no power to the tail light.
    i have determined it to be either the fuse box or the bcm.
    toyota said the same thing and gave me a code B1241 which is a door master swith.
    I want to try to reset the BCM before replacing it and the fuse box.
    can I safely reset the BCM and ECU BY DISCONNECTING the batter post for 10 minutes, and will the vehicle restart or would it need to be reprogrammed ?
