:eek: That would be amazing actually. Sure hope it wraps up that way for you.

No TTT issues to cough up for? Were you making payments/financed, so you lose that as 'rent'?

It's a done deal actually. They took care of it last weekend! I didn't lose a dime on payments or anything else, but actually came out ahead since the Costco established price on Tacomas for April was $450 cheaper than their set price in February, when I got the first one. They even moved my TRD Pro grille from the first one to the new one, at no charge. I feel very fortunate.

Dealers either lie or do not know jack. They will lie to get you to buy the truck. Always get the window sticker and review before committing. Not sure what part of the country you are in but when I was looking for my 2013 none of the Bajas that I found north of KC had tow pkgs. Don't worry about getting a OEM hitch. Just order off Etrailer and bolt it up. Not sure about wiring on Gen3. Some trucks come std. with flat 4 prong. All you need for towing without trailer brakes. Last I priced the round 7 prong OEM it was $200 with wire harness. Since I was just replacing terminal end I just went aftermarket for $15. Etrailer might even have a plug n play 7 prong. There should be a wire connector on the drivers side. Asking the dealer to duplicate the factory tow pkg. will just be opening up your wallet. Other than the oil cooler it is all easy to do.

"misleading" ? no, I believe the term you're hunting for is "sales pitch" aka open for interpretation. The dealer wants you to read "fully loaded" and automatically think it has EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN you're looking for without explaining to you what actually comes on the truck. Classic mix up unfortunately....:(

Yeah, dealer wants you to get mixed up. Classic bait and switch to me. I can't really call it a mix up when it is intentional

It's not a sport version, but the sticker should have listed these for the full tow package:
