OP, use connector 1F since it's in the front side of the BECU/fuse box. 1H is behind.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I did check the codes and it’s throwing code for o2 sensor bank 1.

I also did grab a new/used body ECU off of eBay for $120 with priority shipping and it fixed the problem! Bummer that it wasn’t the cheapest fix, but I’m glad to have all the unlock functionality working like new again.

thanks all for the diagrams and assistance. I did end up buying a 2 day subscription to TIS to get the service manual information in order to test resistances and voltages, which was helpful too.

now onto my O2 sensor :)

Crack open the "busted" ECU, you'll be surprised...

I did crack it open and it looks pretty pristine. Didn’t notice anything crazy, just a small board. Anything I should be looking for?

Not if you don't have a way to test the components...just thought something would look obviously...burnt.

I took my car to a mechanic (a local friend) who worked for Toyota. He said that my BCM (Body Control Module) is bad. Any one ever had to replace this? Any suggestions?

Look at the picture above your post. That is the Body ECM Module. Several people have replaced theirs due to issues such as yours.
Look on EBay for a replacement used Body ECM.

You could also pull the body ecu board out and check it for a burned trace on the board or a defective solder joint...

    Here is one for $60.00.

I have 2017 Tacoma 2.7... Can you help me look for that model? The one you posted is for a 2013... I'd appreciate anyone helping me look for one on ebay... Would I type ECM 2017 Toyota Tacoma into the ebay ?
