No wave from 3rd gen owners

I've noticed that 1st gen & 2nd gen drivers usually wave when we pass each other on or off road. But what's the deal with 3rd gen owners? Too good for it or just don't care?

 

This forum really has fallen apart.

 

3rd gens are too mainstream. Quarter-million 3rd gen owners added to the fold every year.

I call BS on him passing 1st gen drivers on the road. Only 30,000 or so 1st gens still running in the whole country.

 

Im surprised at that number. I feel like I see a few a day, here in Phoenix.

I’ll wave at other Pros or Tacoma’s that aren’t completely stock, which are usually more of the enthusiasts.

Same idea when I had my mustang 5.0, not gonna wave at the people with the 4 or v6 because they probably aren’t passionate about muscle cars

 

Yes let’s wave cause we have a common interest in a vehicle that sells over 100k a year. I make fun of my friend over the jeep wave crap

 

My understanding is we dont wave because (1) its the most popular midsize truck and we would be waving all day and (2) the strong distain for jeep bros keeps us from waving

Everyone in my rural village waves when you pass though...even GMC’s

In Hawaii it's definitely not a thing to wave. We probably have a greater density of them here than anywhere. I bet majority of those 1st Gens are in Hawaii, haha.
