did you have to any aiming with the retro fit before putting the cover back on the housing?

or were you able to install and do all the adjusting through the aiming screws?

i have the morimoto's also but don't really have a wall by my place to test on easily, so i'm hoping i can finish the install then drive down the road to a wall i use for aiming and adjust it there....or should i be planning on keeping the cover off the housings for aiming before sealing it back up?

    thanks..

^^^ You should make sure that they are mounted in there good, but all of your aiming U/D L/R can be done via the adjustment screws. Your rotational alignment should be pretty close with the rings they give you anyway.

so a benefit of throwing them up there before resealing would be to test the rotational alignment?

i can see that, i have some projectors in there now and they aren't flat...

The alignment rings have a little play in them, but I'll just say this. If I were to do it again, I would make sure that my rotation was on before I sealed them back up. It is a BITCH to do once they are already in there. Ask me how I know...

    awesome...thanks for the tips!

i'll try to learn from your alignment struggles and try to the alignment prior to sealing it up
