    I'm going to use the factory steel mounts this time instead of the flimsy plastic one....although my double never flopped out on me! haha

    Just make sure you redrill the holes so you get the proper viewing angle.. Factory mounts make the deck sit at an odd angle and the screen looks like shit when watching movies.

    No need for beer to answer that question.

    Replace it. USB cables CAN go out. *typically something gets bend in side where the pins are*

    Try this.

    1. Plug cable with iPod into PC and see if it works. IF it does, the your deck's USB may be bad, try a new cable just to make sure.

    2. If the PC doesn't work then the cable is bad and get a new one. If the new cable doesn't work then down to the apple store for repairs as one of the pins may of got bend in the iPod or worse, broken off. (if its bent I can fix that typically)

    hopefully soon this 6 inch lift is crap, plus i am tried of hearing about this db lift from the guys on 626 thread :S
