This noise comes on when I accelerate, hit dips or bumps, when I turn left or right quickly, and when I even hop into my car (rarely)

i took it to several mechanics and they seem clueless. The wheel has no play. Braking hard I have no front or rear dives.bouncing the truck makes no noise But the right side does bounce more then it should. The left side bounce once as it should.

i did realize after my tire pressure light went on the sound was more apparent. At first I thought I had low tire pressure but that isn’t the case.

here is a link to the video that I uploaded on YouTube.

    please help!?

There’s no play what so ever when the mechanics did the wheel test. Upper or lower ball?

Lower or upper control arm bushing maybe? Also check your sway bar bushings. Could very well be a ball joint as well

Check the body mount bolts...those things get super dry and rusty. I was chasing a VERY similar squeek and it was coming from the passenger side rear. Even turning them a fraction will break the squeek, but throwing some quality lubricant will surely help. There are some how-to's on TW to help you locate the bolts, along with torque specs. Keep us updated!

I just checked the mounts all seem good. No rust and tight. I sprayed silicone wd40 on them and test drove and still sound.

I used this truck for my rental properties so it’s actually pretty clean Down there.

does the driver side strut and mount with the rubber mount look odd or is that normal?

Like I mentioned before, on occasion the squeaky sound would squeak once when I hop in the driver seat. But only once! And it’s impossible to create that sound again. It’s super random.

My post above referred to the 4" to 5" bolts that hold the cab to the frame. There are a total of 6 of these...two in front by radiator, one near driver left foot, one by passenger right foot, one near back left of cab and one by back right of cab. Mine sounded like an old mattress at the local Motel 6 on a Friday night...man, that thing was super dry and squeaky. Took many hours of trying to find where the sound was coming from. Tore out the whole back seat, subwoofer, etc., just to find it was the back right cab mounting bolt that was dry. Would make the sound once the frame flexed, even at lower speeds in parking lot of base exchange. Here's a link that may help:

    Hope this helps!

Put the truck on jack stands, take the wheel off and put a jack under the lower control arm out by the ball joint and try to cycle the arm. See if you can see any binding or hear your noise when doing that.

That's a good method but I don't think that's going to work unless he removes his coil or finds some method to hold the frame down. The jack will just lift the truck off the jack stands before the arm cycles.

As long as he puts the jack towards the outside of the lca near the ball joint the weight of the truck will allow for movement. Yes, eventually he will start to lift the truck up if he tries to jack too much. If he wants to get full range then yes he will need to remove the nut on top of the sturt and let the shock fully extend, but the coil will drop out at that point but he can easily guild it back when he starts to jack up and compress the shock again.
And again, you need the jack towards the ball joint, if its just under the middle of the lca it won't work b/c it really will just start lifting the stuck of the stands.

When i initially took the truck to the mechanic they did all that testing. Lift the trucks and jacked the lower ball joint and all that stuff and no noise!

I really think i should take the bolts out from the body mount and lubed them because when i went down there and just vigorously pushed up on the body mount area it made that freak noise but just for a sec. I then kicked it to make the e noise again but nope.

    Try a stall test .
Do you have somebody you trust to sit in the truck and put the transmission in gear holding the brakes hard as you move around the truck and chase the noise .
Judging from your video , I am certain you can reproduce that sound without moving the truck .
Just load the truck up in forward and reverse with the brakes held hard .
Allow the transmission to cool by idling in park after you are done

In the video ot seemed like the noise was heard when you would change direction when you were going back and forth..does that seem accurate?

Could that be u-joints or the carrier bearing? Just a wild guess...

I would think that would be a constant chirp noise any time the vehicle moves at slow speed

Mine would make that same noise but over the long speed bumps at higher than normal speeds or long travel of the suspension. What fixed mine was lower control arm bushings. Replaced those and haven't heard the same noise since.
