I had a intermittent noise in my front wheel 15-25 MPH it was like a rubbing or humming noise.
I scheduled service at Toyota and they found front diff oil black with shavings.
They replaced the front diff under the 7 year power train warrant and the noise is gone.
It was a bearing. Noise from front diff

    NOISE IS NOW GONE

Documentation for the future in case someone else has intermittent wheel noise and comes to TW to look it up. I want to know if it was the needle bearing because there's still some debate on long term effects of the flawed needle bearing.

@Lippy -- is your truck lifted?

I just had my needle bearing replaced under warranty AND it is lifted. I just took in the TSB and was super cool to the service advisor.
