Hello everyone. I am happy to be part of this group. Thanks for accepting my application. My problem is as follows: I have noticed that everytime I turn on the AC or the heater (fan) my 2006 Tacoma (automatic, base model) starts making a humming sound and both, the brake and accelerator pedals start to vibrate also. It happens both, when driving and when parked. Any idea what the problem could be? Should I very concerned about it? Thank you for your answers.

Welcome to tw I would start with the fan motor. If the fan is not balanced it sends vibrations through the dash. Or a squirrel put some goodies in the fan. Does it get worse as fan speed increases?

So if I’m understanding correctly, the issue happens whenever the blower is on, not necessarily the A/C compressor kicking in. If it’s just related to the blower, first thing I’d do is pull the cabin filter and inspect for debris in/around the blower. If it’s related to ac comp, could potentially be a bad motor mount causing vibration to resonate into the pedals.
