Hi, I have a 2009 Toyota tacoma and I had an issue with it last month. It was making a noise when I accelerated. I did some research and took it to my mechanic. He also thought the same thing, replace 3 ujoints and the carrier bearing. So he replaced it. When I got in my truck this morning, the same noise came back! Help!

When was the last time the Fluid in the Differentials, Transfer Case and Transmission checked?

Indeed, what was it? Closing the loop may help someone in the future.

    I hope not.
I hate to think an exhaust leak led to the replacement of 3 U-joints and a carrier bearing?

    Hahaha yes blotted!!
Jk bolted... My boyfriend puts some bolts in it. Mechanic paid for new carrier bearing and u joint. So I'm really hoping it didn't fuck anything else up. It sucks because the mechanic was my boyfriend's buddy.
