I have a 2008 and it has always made a clunk when shifting out of 4wd. it used to be when my steering wheel wasn't straight but now it does it all the time.
    Do they all do this?

Some clunk is normal. Make sure you are going slow speeds, in a straight line, and let off the gas pedal when making the switch.

Mine has clunked since it was brand new.
