    Figured I’d close this out.

So after installing and reinstalling my suspension multiple times. Replacing bushings etc....

It was the damn hood. The little rubber stops were not adjusted properly so the hood would bounce.

So I put Fox 2.5" RR with DSC on front, and had the thumping. It's not really a noise, but more of a thump you can feel in the floor as is someone was using a rubber mallet on the frame. It's odd that it does not happen right at compression or extension, but after compression and during the rebound it thunmps like a bouncing ball a few times that fades out in intensity over ~1.5 seconds. I pulled sway bar off, torqued EVERYTHING properly, and even put stock suspension back on--no thumping. After putting serviced shocks back on truck, the thumping is back. It's driving me crazy

Reviving this thread. I have the same issue. It’s not a noise really more of a thump. Installed 2.5 RR with camburg uppers. It thumped at stock height and still thumps after preloading to get the ride height I wanted. I took my sway bar off, torqued everything multiple times, and still can’t figure it out. It’s only when I’m going super slow on little bumps but is so annoying. Gonna try to figure it out this week and report back.

What exactly was up with the CVs that was causing the thump?

they’re completely shot. I can grab the end that connects to the diff and shake it around like an inch in every direction (not literally but you get it)

Damn. The angles from the lift cause excessive wear?

Scratch all that. It’s the bushing in the front diff on the drivers side. Gonna have to pull it and replace it

Post pics when you can. I didn't know there was a bushing there, unless that is what is replaced when you do a diff drop. I only of the body and radiator mount bushings.

Not sure about the above but I've got 0-3" 2.5 RR non-DSC with SPC UCA. I have them set to 21" total height as per accutune Offroad recommendations. Ride is exceptional and everything I would expect from Fox but I am getting the "clunk" noise at low-speed bumps and chatters. I've re-torqued everything a few times with no change. Sounds like it's a common side effect but has anyone solved this yet?

Check your front sway bar to see if its hitting skid plate or anything. That seems to be the common issue

I have the sway bar removed. Based on sound and feel I suspect it is metal to metal contact at the LCA bolt or just the coilover itself. Have the reservoir IFS piston ever been known to make noise?

The shocks should not make any weird clunk noises if they are properly charged.

This is likely part of the problem - lower eyelet spacer was incorrectly installed from Fox (wide end should be forward). I was getting some contact with the LCA mount but nothing crazy. Pulled and re-installed and the coilover definitely sits in a more natural position now. Still getting the slight chatter at low speed bumps.
