Opened exhaust, and more to come!!!

Hey guys,
Alright I have a 2008 toyota tacoma 2.7 5 speed 2wd and I've got an exhaust with my back cat hollowed out. Now the lifters are hydro so they should be self adjusting. But I'm not ready to rule that out quite yet. The problem I have is when I come to a stop, clutch engaged or not, I don't just get a rattling noise. My entire truck rattles like it's gonna die out on me. But my rpms stay constant. What could it be?
