The past few months there’s been noises that come from my transmission/bell housing area when the clutch pedal is depressed. These can be heard inside the cabin when driving and when at idle. I just can’t figure what could be causing them and I’m calling on you all to possibly give me some help. Other people in my family can’t seem to figure it out either.

I have some videos of the two noises linked

Is this issue only when the clutch is depressed? Can you feel the noise inside the cab or at the clutch pedal?

cant feel it at the clutch pedal, but can hear the squeak get louder sometimes until i push it to a certain point and it goes away. which makes me think tob. And yes only when it’s depressed

It sounds like a throw out bearing if the sounds comes when in neutral.

Throw out bearing certainly. When in there do the clutch and pressure plate also. Maybe even resurface the flywheel too.

If you want to “really” know what causes it, read below.

    TBH, I think it’s a design issue.
There are 2 different kits I’ve heard of to try to fix the issue.
I don’t know anyone personally that has used either one. You might search the forums and see what the long term consensus is on each kit.
Or, go OEM and most likely deal with the same problem again later.

I’m the type person that would probably just live with the problem until it got to the point where parts failure was imminent.

    The Clutchmaster kit.

in neither of those videos OP posted do I hear evidence of a chirping throw out bearing....
that sounds like some other type of rattle, but not the tweety bird chirp that the throw out bearing makes.

I have been living with the chirpy throw out bearing now for some time.
I last replaced it roughly 4 years ago at toyota using toyota parts all under warranty, well that lasted about 6-12 months before it came back... I filed a complaint with toyota because the dealer told me to pound sand the second time around... they eventually told me they would cover the cost of parts but not labor... I did not take them up on that one as I was pissed off and told them I rather sell the shit box, the parts is like 20-40 bucks and labor is considerably more...

there are people on this forum that have tried the URD throw out bearing upgrade, but if I recall that was not a permanent solution either. I vaguely remember someone on TW tried removing the bearing shield and packing it with grease then putting the shield back on and giving that a try using an oem toyota throw out bearing.

if you search enough I am sure you will find those threads

full disclosure, I will never sell my beloved chirpy shit box

My first question is did the clutch get replaced?
If the clutch was replaced did a non Toyota clutch get installed?
Lastly clarification, clutch depressed means pedal to the floor. Not depressed means pedal up all the way. That's what you mean? So the rattling is loudest with the pedal to the floor?

I dunno but chirps and squeaks are for throwout bearing
supposedly you can get in there and inject grease into it while being careful to not get any on the clutch disc friction surfaces

the TOB was designed by The Dumbest Man Ever Born

instead of making the sleeve it rides on replaceable like on any other vehicle
where you just undo 3 small bolts and pop the cheap sleeve off ($30) to replace it during a clutch job
they decided to go through the extra effort of casting it/integrating it with the bellhousing itself so that a common wear item like that is not serviceable

kind of if like if someone designed tail lights with metal frame and bulb socket welded onto the vehicle so that the tail light and bulbs could never be removed

    There is a saying
"The Germans try it first in their cars. New technology. It's unreliable. Then the Americans try and copy it second. It's just a little more reliable. Then the Japanese come and try it third. They finally figure out how to make it reliable."
    That did not happen here.

Always resurface the flywheel when installing a new clutch.

LOL your final quote made me laugh out loud. It sounds like something was loose in the first video but the second sounded like a chirp. I’ve had the chirp for two years and it happened right after I had the clutch replaced as well and it really does suck. There is a guy who tried the clutch master fix twice but they leaked both times and now he’s on an epic journey to fix it for good. You should check out his posts. You can find the link in the two posts above. Good luck!

I've only had to resurface a flywheel once in my many years... I had a 1949 Ford Custom with a 390 and 4 speed dropped in. Of course I burned that fker up. In my defense I was 18 years old and wild as a Bobcat.
