so i got home from work... I got this weird tapping, clicking noise in the cab coming from the engine when I was backing it up to the parking sppt... I open the door thinking it was coming from the engine...it wasn't it. So i closed the door and i heard it again. I rev it up and it kinda went away and as soon as it came back on the rpm, it would make that noise again. The noise is nothing like crazy loud, but it worries me a bit. I know its not the fan motor blower.. so i turned the car off and went inside, had dinner, took a shower put my kid to bed. Then i went out to start the truck and drove around the block and came back to the spot and it make the noise again. It sounds like its coming from inside of instrumental cluster. So i drove it again and back to the spot and this time it didn't come up... maybe someone got this same issue? The pulleys and belt is running great. Just weird.

I think you are going ...

On a serious note, it might help if you record the sound and post it somewhere like Youtube or Photobucket.

Possible one of the heater door control motors. when you hear the noise bring your controls to mid station one at a time. see if it goes away.
