My front head rest rattle. Anyone else have this issue and what has the dealer done?

    Thanks!

Welcome to TW! I'm chasing a rattle myself but one guy said his front headrests rattled and all he did was stitched them out (passenger to driver side) and it stopped it. Maybe give that a try and see what happens. Also, there is a sweet spot for them when you put them down, not quite all the way, but close. Keep us posted!

Did you happen to locate the source of the rattle in your truck yet?

Not yet. It has been nothing but rain here so I'm hoping to get to it on Friday. I'm virtually certain it's the passenger seat. It is clearly loose.

Do you need to know, or care?
Welcome! Haven't had this issue. Is head rest at the top of its limit?

Yeah, having the headrest at the top would definitely rattle!

I keep it about 1 or 2 clicks up. I hope to take it into the dealer soon and hopefully they'll do that same to fix it. It seems like it's loose inside the seat.

OP, be prepared to drive with them to show them what it is doing or else you will get some tech that is borderlining deaf say he can't hear it. Best of luck to you.

I have no rattling problem, but mine squeaks like a MF...OP, best of luck.

On the topic of headrest does anyone find theirs moves randomly up and down on its own? I can’t seem to keep the damn thing in one spot! I think it’s when I get in or out or something. I know for a fact if I try, I can move it up and down with the back of my head, without pushing the release...
