Noisy rear diff?

    I have a 2011 TRD Sport 4x4 and mine also makes noise when I decelerate at about 70 mph on the highway. Over time the noise has been more noticeable.

    Well the dealer got the part in on Monday, and I just got the truck back today.

    Problem is solved, and actually there must have been a lot of gear noise that I didn't notice at the time, because the truck seems much quieter at all speeds now.

    I am very pleased that Toyota stepped up and replaced the diff, even if it did take over 55 000km of complaining to do so.

    No, they didn't really specify.
    I had been pressing the issue for a long while, so I didn't want to push my luck when they finally agreed to swap in a new one.
    This is the invoice, but it doesn't reveal much.
