Hello, New to the forum. I have a '17 TRD ORDC had TSB completed and it still sings/whines between 45-60 mph. I think it is the high strength steel frames that they are using on the 3rd gens. Since high strength steel is harder and thinner, the noise resonates throughout the frame into the cab. The 2nd gens were mild steel which were thicker and softer steel, the noise did not make it into the cab. What are your thoughts???

theres a bunch of forums on this. theres a crap load of theories and fixes. from reading all the forums i came to a conclusion that its not gonna damage anything so i dont care. plus only a few toyota dealers are willing fix it, none of the dealers in my area would i said fuck it. now that i got a aftermarket exhaust and mud tires i no longer hear the noise. i guess its kinda fixed
