Noisy Squeaking Icon COs... help

Hey everyone... has anyone else had their Icon or DR Coilovers develope squeaks? I had mine rebuilt less than a year ago after I bought them used and they were fine for a while and all of a sudden they started squeaking / creaking really bad.

I called Icon and DSM and Icon said to lube the shaft "not that shaft" so I did that and it goes away for awhile and comes back if I don't keep spraying it.

DSM said it could be bad heims but I haven't lubed those and so it wouldn't make sense to me since it went away w/ lube temporarily.

Thoughts?

 

it could be the wiper seals.. I had bad hiems two weeks after i had icon rebuild them.. it would squeak and creek pretty badly.. its was the lower hiems for the lower shock bolt.

 

So did you send them in or what? DSM told me they would pretty much do the heims for free but idk about wipers. Problem is it's $60 shipping there and back...
