Don't mind the knocking sound it actually doesn't knock its just the video. However, that high pitch is what I'm asking about. At first i thought it was the belt, but now I'm starting to think its a pulley. Sounds like it's coming from the right side, maybe the middle. Any ideas?

If you rev the engine, does the noise increase velocity with the engine?

Theoretically... belts don't make any noises unless they're slipping on the pulley and its a high pitched screaching sound usually at the beginning when you step on the gas.

It could be a bearing going bad...a bearing inside one of the pulleys. You have to figure out which pulley/bearing is making the noise.

Sometimes...if you spray a very small amount of light oil (WD, PB, etc) on the bearing from the outside, enough will get inside to 'quiet' the bearing - and hence, you'll know which bearing it is. DO NOT get any oil on the belt or pulley surfaces!!!

I can't help from the video.... Need more info. Year, Mileage, etc. Usually, IMO, the first to go is the water pump bearings .... but can't tell .

It doesn't change pitch with the rev of the engine. After i run the engine for 15 minutes the noise goes away. 2006 92xxx miles
