I think you are thinking of the Vativa from 10 years ago or longer. I worked at Kal and never saw the Rativa but they seem to have good reviews . This new tire looks really slick

No, a lot of customers here run the all weather truck tires and they feather and wear like crap. Always noisy. Rotiivas or whatever. They have a reputation with us and we would never recommend them except for hakkas and r3s.

Like I said I know nothing about those Rotiivas , well after my time lol. They definitely don't look like an appealing tread design. I currently have 10ply ko but they have 1 year left on them . Don't even know if I'll keep the truck that long . Really looking at my next set of tire being the outpost . I like the look and the info I have read up on them makes them sound appealing. The 10 ply is also lighter then the ko2 in the same size tire I have

I'm in Canada as well and ended up getting cheap 10 ply coopers (motomaster at3 265/75r16 for 800$) from Canadian tire, and I run Yoko winters. So I have a good set where it counts.

What's funny is I expected terrible issues, but even after hammering them with gravel roads nearly every work day, they still aren't bad. But they suck in the cold.

I think the problem with Nokians is like Duratracs, they need to be rotated diagonally and often. And most shops don't do it. Plus Nokian simply doesn't have a reputation for all terrains.

Just my opinion, I'm not in a tire shop, but a dealer right now.

I think the cooper is a heavy tire , looking for a lighter tire myself

I run Rotiivas on my CR-V and love them. I recently switched from 285 KO2s to 275 Outpost ATs and I like them so far. They ride more like a C than an E, are only 47.4lbs, and seem fine on road. Definitely less rolling resistance than the KO2s - I can coast further and carry momentum more. We'll see how they do in the dirt.

This interests me , currently have E rated but it definitely helped tank my mileage because of how heavy they are

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised. I tend to hate E-rated tires. So far I am only running them at 35 psi. I imagine they'll firm up some at 38-40, which is where I like to keep tires for mileage on the highway.

You should still run what is recommended on the door from my understanding unless you are towing or have weight in the back .

Does anyone have some good pics of the side walls and tread? Hard to find anything on the net.

I’m not running stock weight, size, wheel, load rating, gear ratio, or suspension though. E-rated tires like a little higher PSI. I don’t think anyone can assert anything about wear without a chalk test.

Global economy got to take the good with the bad. I'll still eat at Burger King and that's always been a bad decision.

Tires look good for an AT.
