I'm thinking about upgrading to projector headlights, probably LED at this point rather than HID, but not sure.

So far, all I've been able to find out in the world is Spyders and Anzos, which most reviews around here aren't high on. Might do retrofits, but I've got a cracked cover on one of my stock headlights, so DIY probably isn't worth it for me. Also, I'm not a huge fan of the look of halos, but can live with it if there's no alternative.

Is there anything else out there that's decent quality and can mount LED projectors?

    thanks

They dont make led projectors for retrofits. Yet. Hid projectors are the way to go. No you dont have to put halos in. That's just an option. And most people don't re-use their original housings and buy new ones. Which sounds like you need anyways. Diy is not that hard. Especially if you're not doing any halos. Hardest part is splitting the housings, and making sure the threaded shaft on the minis extends far enough to put the nut on. And making sure they are aligned. Which the mini H1 6.0's I think for 2nd require trimming the back of reflector bowl to get the nut on the shaft. The new 7.0's have fixed this. Not sure about the D2s minis. That's the best way to go. Don't get the anzo/spyders. Garbage. Do a proper retro and you'll have zero issues. Especially without halos.

There are a few led projectors but they're expensive and harder to retrofit due to their heat sink. Like Harlan mentioned, halo is just an option. One less thing to wire and will make your retrofit cheaper. Find a good set and work on it til you're done. Swap and done! BTW 7.0 mini H1 is killer!
