    Hey Everyone,
Just curious to know if anyone bought the non oem or knock off version of the TRD Pro Grill and was curious to know if you regretted it or wish ya bought OEM? Also where ya bought it from. Thanks in advance!

Purchased Seven Sparta Front Grill for Tacoma 2016-2018 from Amazon. Do not regret it. I added the 2018 OEM insert for TSS.

That being said, I took the extra step of adding adhesive to the rear of the letters just as a precaution. My understanding is that the Toyota Logo is what makes some of these grills use the seperate letters to avoid copyright infringement.

I am sure you will hear an opinion that OEM is made better etc. Worth 100% more? Not to me.

I highly doubt the factory in Asia that makes OEM is any better than the one that makes many others. For all i know it may be the same guy.

I was looking at the Seven Sparta Front Grill but was curious to know if anyone else had any good experiences with it. If it’s as good as OEM then it works for me.

I hope I can post a link here, but I got mine about a month ago, just installed it the other day. Non stop rain has been causing issues with the sensor in the grill. Removal of the old grill was fairly straight forward, highly recommend a towel or blanket to rest the original grill on face down and remove the sensor and wiring, before removing the grill surround (learned that) - The plastic clips that hold the sensor wiring to the back of the original grill are a pain in the ass to remove. The video I watched, mentioned the sensor issue, but not the wiring clips or towel part! I paid a buck or two less a month ago, but very pleased with the end product regarding the fit, finish and quality, delivery was maybe 10 days. https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Front-...h=item1a62990b54:g:9GAAAOSwy09bfoRm:rk:1:pf:0 Good luck - Bill
