    Just like a tent....you tie it down with some guy lines. There are several attaching points for this purpose. Of course, depending on how high your tent sits and whether you are sheltered at all from the wind affects it. I'd say that there aren't a whole lot of tents...RTT or ground that would stand gusts of that high without being ready for it. I also carry my ground tent for just that reason. If you're out in the open....good luck with anything!!! AMHIK

    I like ground tents when base camping in the same place for a few days, especially when we want to drive around and return to camp each day, but there’s nothing better than using an RTT when touring- especially when pulling into a turnout on a single track backcountry trail at night and not having to sweep away cow pies, sticks, cactus thorns and rocks to make enough room for a ground tent. Not to mention having it level and ready to sleep in less than 10 minutes!C09FC25B-C2F3-459F-83D3-D73FC75A3A50.jpg
