Just tint and ppl for now.
Nope. Not just material. Like I said, bolstered too. Bolstered seats offer side support. Keeps you tucked into the seat more. My SR5 seats feel like bench seats compared to the sport/or seats.

Sounds like the better side bolsters and adjustable lumbar is the bigger factor than just the material.

Diff in price btw SR5 and TRD OR is around $1900, and you get alot more than just the seats

more than likely you have the SR5 standard seats. They come with adj. lumbar support but dont have the bolster support. My standard seats have the adj. lumbar support as well.

This is true, both SR5 and TRD OR have adj. lumbar, but the OR has diff fabric and better bolsters. I went by my local dealer during lunch to compare the two. I think I'm gonna go with the TRD OR when I purchase one soon.

I like the TRD seats. That's mainly why i've had 2 TRD's. I like the TRD sport ride and looks:)

Honestly, most of the stuff that comes on the TRD would have been replaced eventually if I would have gotten it. Shocks would be replaced, wheels would be replaced, and Im not worried about seats being a little more comfortable than what I have

I have a SR5 4x4 AC v6 6spd. the only trucks with the options i wanted were SR5s and Sports. And i can't stand the hood scoop, so i went with the SR5. i am very happy with my choice. i am ditching the steelies for TRD OR wheels.

On my 2011 4 x 4 Off Road with towing package, the out-the-door price was less than $1000 more than an SR5. No brainer for me.

bought my tacoma in portland, oregon.had a set amount of loot to spend and i wanted a black 6 cyl 4x4 manual AC.All they had on the lot was two RED 4 cyl prerunners and a bunch of 5 lug. After a couple days the salesguy said there was NO black 4x4 anywhere. Told me it was RARE truck. I was itchin so bad they almost sold me the prerunner, but i realized this wasn't anywhere close to the truck i wanted to be drivin. i might as well have driven off the lot in a prius.
Long story short had to wait a couple weeks for special order and ditch all options and had to go automatic which they gave me at no extra cost over manual.
i thought goin in to a dealer with a wad of cash pretty much gets you what you want
    Not the case
They didn't want me to pay in full, tryin to get me to finance
    kind of crazy experience
