    ...and there it is.

Whether you meant it or not, a lot of people were giving you advice based on the assumption that you hadn’t messed with the electrical system. In fact forum user Bulalo flat out asked this question. Not to pile on, but next time state that right off the get go

May I ask how the remote start system was "integrated" into the vehicle? That is: how are the splices/connections done? Crimp? T-tap? Solder/Heatshrink? Solder/electrical tape? And the list goes on...
I'm wondering if there is a broken wire somewhere as the result of the accessory install.
I'm sure you'll [OP] report back once you've removed the remote start.

Another point is to learn how to read a factory wiring schematic. These are available on TIS.

Good luck and avoid taking your truck to the dealer. Rarely will you find a competent electrical tech.

Only thing that I spliced was the TPMS. Everything else was plug n play.

Apologies. The system that I put was not related to the windows. When the other gentlemen said that he blew a fuse messing around under the dash that’s when it occurred that I could have caused something else. I didn’t mean to offend anyone lol.

    Hmmm...
At any rate report back after you've completely removed everything related to the remote start.
As you've stated, windows worked prior to remote start device. How did you splice into the TPMS? Verify that the TPMS wire is OK after the splice is removed. While you're under the dash look around, you may find a loose connector...or..??

Once you've resolved this you'll have learned quite a bit. To me these challenges are "adult jigsaw puzzles."

    Again, good luck.

The first time I used a multimeter, I was only 7. I tested a 220 volt outlet in the utility room with my dad’s meter. It wasn’t set on AC and it only went up to 12v DC I think. It glowed and spat out smoke, and then the whole house went dark. It was the last time anyone ever used that meter, and I never could use my dad’s new one after that either:bananadance:

Appreciate the positive vibes. I edited the original and added the video for the install. Just star at the 3:30 mark.

UPDATE: I was about to take it all out then I noticed that this plug was just dangling. I could not find where it goes to save my life.

(the electrical wiring you see tucked up is a factory DRL option installed by Toyota when the truck was new, not me) 0D96338C-2234-4389-95B4-027EBF601221.jpg

I can relate. When I was starting out in my industry I bought my first meter, an expensive Fluke (I think it was a model 110). Working on a call with my Foreman at the time I lent him my meter to check Voltage, unbeknownst to me he set it to Continuity instead of Volts, which blew the fuse in the meter. I learned two things that day: 1) Never loan your tools to anyone 2) Fluke meters (generally) have a spare fuse in them :D

It looks like connector P21; but that's supposed to be the front passenger window switch.

I suppose that’s a start, for the life of me I can’t figure out where it plugs in.

UPDATE: For those of you who helped, just wanted to say thanks for the attempts.

Ended up being a bent pin in my OBD connector.... Got it fixed easy peasy.
