nonstock back up camera install

I just purchased a new 2015 tacoma quad cab base without BUC. The tailgate has the wiring harness ready for camera. Can I simply plug a camera in, and will it display on the LCD screen? Will I need to plug the other end of harness into the LCD? Also can anyone recommend an aftermarket camera that will work? There are a lot out there, all different price ranges...... Thanks for any info!!!

 

I'm pretty sure they all have different proprietary harness plugs. Maybe hit up a junkyard and pick up an OEM camera.

I have a 2015 Tacoma Acces Cab. I am wondering if I can install the OEM camera on my Truck? The truck is prewired.
